The GEO Group Australia Pty Ltd (GEO) is seeking a visionary Healthcare Director to lead our primary and sub-acute health services across correctional facilities, driving operational excellence, compliance, and innovation.

What You Will Do
- Provide strategic leadership for primary and sub-acute health services in correctional environments.
- Drive operational and financial performance, ensuring compliance with contracts, legislation, and regulatory obligations.
- Partner with Justice Health and Corrections Victoria, building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Lead responses to serious incidents and oversee governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
- Shape business development opportunities, including initiatives within the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
- Guide contract negotiations and modifications, ensuring sustainable outcomes.

Is This You? Your Essential Skills for Success
We are looking for a leader who thrives in complex environments and brings:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field (postgraduate highly regarded).
- Proven executive-level management experience in health, correctional services, or related fields.
- Expertise in governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Proven experience to lead, develop and implement long term strategies to improve health service delivery within a secure environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing divisional financial performance.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with political awareness and stakeholder influence.

- Reference checks will be conducted following the interview
- Fit2Work and National Police Certificate Authority Clearance which will be covered by our organisation
- Pre-Employment Medical and Fitness Assessment, which will be covered by our organisation
